Isuzu produced the Geo Storm, which was regarded as a sports vehicle, in the 1990s. The Geo Storm, named for a spectacular meteorological phenomenon, had an unusual body form and ugly colors.
Its strength was one of its main drawbacks. The Geo Storm’s highest speed was a mere 108 mph, which was rather low for a car marketed as a sports car. The Geo Storm, often known as the “wagonback,” was eventually phased out in 1993 after just three years of production.
