Apart from how large and unattractive its boxy appearance was, the Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 had nothing dynamic about it. The 1949 launch of the Oldsmobile Dynamic marked the beginning of more than 50 years of sales.

Despite having so much time, the Dynamic remained mostly unchanged and stale over time. Sales of the Dynamic ultimately fell, and it was canceled in 1999 due to a lack of updates and an ugly automobile.
