Jeep unveils the 650-horsepower Wrangler Magneto 3.0 electric:

Jeep has launched its new electric car, the Wrangler Magneto 3.0, as an electric test car at an SUV event. The car features an upgraded electric motor that produces up to 650 horsepower.

Jeep, which is owned by the Stellantis Group, which includes Dodge and Ram, is aiming for 50 percent electric vehicle sales by 2030 as part of its Dare Forward 2030 strategy.

The company, known for its rugged SUVs, is moving toward an electric future with “4xe” technology that uses instant torque to help climb rocks and hills.

Jeep plans to launch three all-electric vehicles by 2025 in North America and Europe as part of its commitment to zero emissions.

The company’s first electric vehicle launched in Europe was the Jeep Avenger, a compact sports car with a target range of 400 km and a higher terrain climb altitude.

Electric models coming to North America include the Jeep Recon, an SUV, and the Wagoneer S, a full-size SUV with a range of about 400 miles.

In 2022, Jeep added a second electric version of the Wrangler Magneto (2.0), more than doubling the amperage to 600 amps, enabling up to 625 horsepower and giving new meaning to the concept of climbing.

And this year, the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Electric features a new, more efficient engine that has increased torque for an additional 20 percent power and useful range.

The Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Electric has two different power settings; The standard setting is 285 hp and 370 Nm of torque, and the maximum setting is 650 hp and 1,220 Nm of torque.

The car also includes an advanced mountain driving mode.
