Finally, the design of the BMW XM Label Red, the most potent variant of the Bavarian automaker’s most recent SUV, was made public. It instantly assumed the title of most potent BMW vehicle in history.
The BMW XM Label Red, the most potent version of the Bavarian automaker’s most recent SUV, was finally given shape, and it promptly assumed the status of being the most potent BMW vehicle in history.
The car’s outer shell:
This brand-new vehicle from 2024 boasts 738 horsepower, making it the most potent mid-engine BMW with a hybrid powertrain. It sees itself as the heir to the storied BMW M1.
This performance SUV includes external accents, including distinct embellishments in Toronto red to set it apart from the standard model, as implied by its name. Additionally, you’ll see that the wheels and the air diffuser’s perimeter now have red accents. Additionally, the brake calipers, XM emblems, and Label Red, which measure 5,110 mm in length and roll on 23-inch vehicle wheels, are all red.
Label Red, a company located in Munich, claims it will sell a “small number” of vehicles with the Frosted Carbon Black matte exterior paint treatment. Label Red will be available in more than 50 different paint finishes at no additional cost.
The inside has leather upholstery in two hues, additional red accents, carbon fiber, and satin accents that are particular to this special edition, as well as a “1/500” inscription marking the car’s restricted availability.
Car characteristics:
The standard XM 2023 has a mechanical system plug-in hybrid that combines the work of a 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo engine with 483 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque with a rechargeable electric motor with 193 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It also has an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Label Red uses the same mechanics but performs better, producing a total of 738 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. The performance numbers have improved over the standard model thanks to the xDrive all-wheel drive technology, which incorporates a sand mode for driving over sand dunes. The output of the electric motor alone increased to 194 horsepower and 279 Newton meters after the V8 engine alone generated 577 horsepower and 750 Newton meters of torque, recording an increase of 94 horsepower and 100 Newton meters of torque.
Similar to the standard XM vehicle, the Label Red model includes a brief mode called a maximum boost that temporarily increases the torque in the electric motor to 452 Newton meters.
According to BMW, the XM Label Red accelerates from a standstill to 96 km/h in less than 3.7 seconds, has an electronically regulated peak speed of 250 km/h, and can exceed 282 km/h if the optional package M Driver is selected.
The XM Label Red, the most powerful BMW in history, will go into production at the Spartanburg factory in South Carolina, USA, in August following its debut at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show next week. It will cost far more than the regular season XM price in 2023, which starts at $159,000.
